Atmanirbhar - III 2 Sewing machines donated
Sewing machines provided to empower women and help sustain their livelihood.

About the Project
RC
Central Gardens Calcutta supported two deserving poor women by
providing them with new sewing machines equipped with pedals to help
establish vocational livelihoods. This initiative was aimed at fostering
self-reliance, enabling them to earn a sustainable income through
tailoring and related work. By equipping them with essential tools, the
project created opportunities for financial independence, dignity, and
empowerment. It also reinforced the club’s mission of promoting
inclusive growth and social equity by ensuring access to skill-based
resources. The beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude, acknowledging the
transformative impact of this support in building confidence and hope
for a better future. This effort marks a meaningful step toward women’s
empowerment and community development, with RC Central Gardens Calcutta
envisioning further expansion of similar initiatives to uplift more
women in need.
