Health Check Up Camps

The Rotary Club of Central Gardens from the Rotary International District 3291 organised a health check up camp in Kolkata's ChandniChowk metro station with Medica Superspeciality Hospital as a health partner on the occasion of Doctor's day on July 1st,2019.Eminent medical professionals who graced the occasion and were felicitated included Dr.Kunal Sarkar(Cardiothoracic Surgeon),Prof.Bhabatosh Biswas(Cardiothoraic Surgeon and ex Vice chancellor of West Bengal Health University),Prof.Sukumar Mukherjee(Eminent Physician),Dr.H.Nag(Ophthalmologist,Susrut Hospital) and some other prominent personalities from the health sector of Kolkata,West Bengal. The health check up booths were manned by skilled nursing teams,and provided the facility of basic check up including blood pressure,blood sugar and BMI readings.There were almost 125 people who availed the opportunity for a quick check up.They were provided with the readings as a takeaway and a word of advice to take care of one's health.
